Other information:
This file is a brief presentation which addresses some basics of Planned Maintenance.

Planned maintenance is organised and executed with forethought and control by utilising the application of recorded data. It encompasses condition based maintenance, which is planned and progressed following information received about a system or structure's condition.

This information is gleaned from routine or continuous monitoring processes and preventative maintenance.

Preventative maintenance is carried out at predetermined intervals or according to prescribed criteria, with the intention of reducing the probability of failure or the performance degradation of a system.
